Tara Joshi Foundation is a women-led nonprofit working with women and rural communities across Uttarakhand. Our work spans education, healthcare, skill development, sustainable livelihoods, and traditional knowledge preservation.

Our approach is grounded in self-reliance. We build programmes with participants, respect indigenous knowledge systems, and maintain transparent field execution over many years.

Our vision is a Himalayan region where women and rural families sustain their livelihoods, access education and healthcare, and keep their traditional knowledge alive for future generations.

Our mission is to build long-term relationships with communities through education, skill development, and livelihood initiatives, measured by the strength of the local leadership they create rather than by one-time aid.
